Email your question and I will post my response below.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, no, we do not accept insurance. We do however, provide you with a detailed receipt that insurances companies accept to provide you with a reimbursement.
Why won't my child listen to me when I tell them to stop doing something?
Children are impressionable and concrete thinkers. They desperately want to please people. They need specific directions in order to know what you want from them. Instead of telling them what you don't want from them, tell them what you do want. For example: telling them not to run puts the idea of running into their minds. Instead, tell them to walk or I want you to walk. If they are slamming doors tell them, gently close the door, instead of don't slam the door. Children don't have the same level of understanding as adults, and we often forget that. We assume that because we, as adults, know what our other options are for not slamming the door, children do not. They need clear instructions to understand what their alternatives are.
