You and your children are unique so therapeutic approaches should work with the uniqueness of your lives, not be a cookie cutter approach. At Epione wellness we tailor our treatments to meet the individual needs of our clients while continuing to use evidenced based approaches. Our clinicians also have an additional specialty training for working with children and adolescents who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Treatment is available via online for long distance and in-home depending on locations.
Anne is a trainer for the NCTSN Road to Recovery Tool Kit which provides substantial education and interventions for working with children who have childhood trauma as well as an intellectual and developmental disorder. Consultation is available on adapting treatments, complex trauma, and supporting parents of children with IDD. Anne provides these services at no, or low, cost for the purpose of raising awareness, support, and understanding for populations with IDD and mental illness. Email for more information.
Anne Fogg, LPC, is a seasoned clinician with expertise working with children and families. She has extensive experience working with children with dual diagnoses, specifically, intellectual and developmental disabilities. Anne has a number of certifications, including but not limited to, life coaching, reiki level 2, and clinical hypnotherapy. Additionally, Anne is a certified complex trauma professional which aids in her abilities to provide extensive psycho-education on how trauma impacts brain functioning. Anne has a passion for working with children and adolescents to educate them on the effects trauma and anxiety have on their brain, equip them with the skills they need to manage their symptoms, and empowers them to make the right choices in their journey overcoming the struggles of living with a mental illness, or developmental disability. Anne is conversational in sign language and often utilizes it as a tool to assist children with verbal processing delays. When she isn't volunteering her services to a non profit called Warrior Now, Inc., Anne spends her spare time with her family enjoying cooking, board games, outdoor play, and time alone reading fiction novels.
